Grief and Loss

While grief and loss is often associated with the death of a loved one, it can also be related to the loss of a relationship, job, pregnancy, or way of life as with COVID-19. Grief can leave a person feeling sad, hopeless, isolated, irritable, and numb which can cause an impact mentally, emotionally, and physically. It is important to understand that healing from grief is an individual process and that each person copes differently.

Therapy for grief and loss can aid a client in improving coping skills, exploring and processing emotions, and reducing feelings of guilt.
